Between your report and the following link, I’m starting to feel like I’m blind and living in dystopian future. And I think I need to believe and prepare for it.

I saw that! I have it down on the list to write about possibly tomorrow. but I'm struggling to find the right words. we are in some seriously uncharted territory. :/

I can’t imagine digging deep enough (both in the data and my gut) to write it - I’m struggling to read to the end on it!

But I will, when you’re ready. Thanks!

Note to self: play upbeat music in the morning. The Rising will help.

There are many parallels with this behavior and the way cartels operate in Mexico . The disappeared people are searched for by family and friends the rest of their lives . This loss will weigh down our country forever. The loss of justice, liberty and safety all feel like pressures to get out . Where to go that begins to offer a better life ? I have seen this coming and now I realize it is organized far beyond my awareness. This explanation makes perfect sense and has not been discussed except by my own assumption that the pardoned Jan 6 folks were taken up by ice to enforce these immigration expulsions. A wonderful organic farm nearby has been unable to open their farmers market due to no Mexicans legal or otherwise to work , so my whole community is becoming whiter I would say. And none of these white people will do this kind of work. We are losing resources and valuable members of our society. The legality of these goons is atrocious and terrifying.

When you start to put the pieces together and then start seeing it happening in your own town it really hits home.

For one, I'm not sure that 'fighting' it in a generic or general sense is helpful. I am still on the fence on whether the protests will have any effect other than gathering all the resistors into one place for mass containment and targeting.

I'm personally preparing my family to survive as much as we can through general preparedness. I'm not going overboard, but stocking up food, basic supplies and such. Maybe a few months worth. But I don't think there is really any level of "prep" that can help.

I'm more trying to mentally prepare myself for when something happens right in front of me and I have to make a split decision on where I stand and what I'm willing to sacrifice. I have a wife and 2 kids. so I'm running scenarios on if I see some masked up, no badge heavily armed gorillas jump out of an unmarked van and start grabbing people at Wal-Mart. Do I start shooting at them and risk not going home to my family?

I have no idea. It's easy to write shit on the internet and talk big but we all need to start thinking realistically about what we will do when it becomes reality on our actual doorstep.

I agree that the protests may now be more dangerous than valuable and I haven’t seen them benefiting us much. There are other ways to resist. I have done more prepping than I’d like. I have a greenhouse, a hydroponic indoor set up and a huge organic garden. I live on a 40 acre ranch with well. I can anticipate some family may end up here or like minded folks gather communally. No level of prep can carry us into a happy free existence so thus, I research how to get out. Currently I vote with my dollars in terms of boycotting Amazon, Whole Foods, target , tractor supply and Home Depot. The list could go on. This has been a nightmare to negotiate while putting in a large solar project but we’re almost finished. I have chickens and hope the bird flu and covid leave us alone. Yikes it’s a horror show unfolding. Now I’m wondering how safe it is to post on here. 😎

well you're better setup than I'll ever be is all I can say. But you are right, the best we can do is probably coast. I say prepare for the worst and hope for the maybe not the absolute worst. But I don't see how we avoid some version of 'the worst'. I wish you the best, just keep your head down and blue towel close by. don't panic!
