Send ‘em To Jail

Tommy Tuberville says on Fox that ‘all protesters should be treated the same. Send ‘em to Jail.” He follows that up by saying that “Free Speech is great, but hateful, hate, free speech is not what we need in these Universities.”

First off—Simply making a blanket statement that all protesters should be put in jail is not only an insanely broad statement, but also antithetical to Free Speech.

Secondly—If we are treating “all protesters” the same, does that mean they are all subject to illegal search and seizure, abducting by ICE agents and disappeared without their family or lawyer having any idea what happened to them? As is the case with Mahmoud Khalil.

Thirdly—I find it interesting that he chose to specifically designate ‘Universities’ as the type of place where we don’t ‘need’ hateful hate free speech. I find this interesting because it implies that he is just fine with defending the free speech of nazis, racists and outright terrorists that abuse the privilege of free speech all the time. When they pop out of Uhaul Trucks screaming *Fuck n********s! and Fuck faggots and death to jews” and all sorts of other shit as they parade through towns wearing hard hats designed to look like ball caps.

Fourth—Again, we see this very strong coordinated push to conflate exercising your free speech to say that you don’t agree with Israel into ‘supporting an international terrorist organization’. This is going to be a problem. It’s going to be a problem because, it can be extended infinitely for any number of situations where people are speaking out against the government because they disagree.

Rubio’s Cloak of Invisibility

In this very specific case, it is important to realize that the government has not charged Khalil with any crime. Currently, the regime is operating with the flimsiest of legal justification using a very small nuance of the relatively obscure ‘Immigration and Nationality Act’.

Essentially, it is a provision that allows the head of the agency (Rubio) to personally revoke a green card and deport someone that he (personally) feels is a danger to national security or any other long list of things. The burden of proof is very high, but Khalil has a lot of lawyers and the public eye is on him.

But what happens to the next guy? and the next guy? And the 100 other people after that? And the 1000 people after that?

If their current M.O. is any indication, I imagine they will continue to double down on this, arresting more and more protesters of foreign origin and soon full blown natural born citizens. They will tip toe in a little, then all at once. Right now they are testing the resolve of the public, our attention span to the news cycle and our ability to pay attention to anything through the deluge of insanity.

Additionally, it looks like Rubio is attempting to bypass constitutional and legal guardrails for any future regulations and policy. This includes nearly all immigration regulations and policy, export controls, trade rules and more.

Hell Yeah! We’re Getting Acid Rain Again!

I’m so excited! Up until this point I have only had vague memories to tell my children about when I was a kid there were always news stories and problems with acid rain. They are fascinated by my old-timey folk tales of literal acid falling from the sky. Destroying buildings, melting statues and such. They may never get to see the redwoods, but at least they will know I wasn’t just making up acid rain.

OOH! I hope they get to see some rivers catch on fire as well. That will be super neato!

Eric Adam’s Fascism Fetish

Eric Adams, that’s the NYC mayor who started a literal secret police that broke laws and disregarded rights as a matter of business. In fact, it was one of their main themes. We only know about this now because of some reporting and investigation from Eric Umansky. But how many more cities with right wing mayors have something similar going on? Everything we see come to light is a prototype or part of a pattern.

One particularly disturbing aspect of this is that the secret police were outfitted with special body cams that subverted traditional monitoring or enforcement. Instead the live footage was streamed directly to Eric Adams. I guess so he could strip down, lube himself up with Trumps butt-sweat and then masturbate furiously to nazi oppression porn.

What do you Think of That Pete?

“What do you think of that Pete?” was the casual and smirking retort that Dernerld “Tesler” Tremp posed to Peter Hegsmith the drunken head of all of our military. This was in response to a question from a reporter about his plans to annex Greenland.

He responded with “I think it’ll happen”, which is insane enough of a thing to say. But then followed with one of his tired rambling rants about his version of history where “some people sailed some boats very far away from denmark and now they think they have rights to the island. I don’t think they do. That’s probably not right..”

He then rambled himself into further speculation about the military bases we have there. He pointed out that we have a lot of military bases there and a lot of troops. Then he said “You might see a lot more troops moving over there soon.” Then he turned to Petey, who probably had quickly put away his tumbler of whiskey and asked. “What do you think of that Pete?”. He wasn’t on camera but I just image that he laughed, and then threw up a little bit in his mouth. Not out of objection, because he’s drunk as fuck, all the time.

As pointed out in last night’s report, I am not the only one saying that we are definitely going to war with Canada and Mexico. Some people smarter than me have figured out that Greenland is a strategic place to launch a surprise attack on Canada. Or we just go to war with fucking Denmark of all places. Dismantling of Education

Columbia is apparently the whipping post for the regime as they get their Education Dismantlerer 3000 up and running. For over 2 weeks now, they have been on a solid push to make an example out of Columbia. After attempting to strong arm the historically and canonically diverse institution into getting rid of all of it’s diversity programs, the President of Columbia wrote back a scathing letter that basically said ‘fuck off and no’.

Now the regime has responded by giving them a list of demands of how they should restructure their curriculum if they want to continue accepting funds.

The demands are no less ludicrous or predatory than the Ukraine mineral “deal”. It outlines some very specific conditions that Columbia will have to meet, including no one is allowed to wear masks, centralize all discipline in to the president’s office with no other checks or balances, and other mini-nazi type demands.

Most interestingly, and specifically a new flavor of Nazi is the demand that the college adopt EO 13899 and IHRA definition specifically targeting “Anti-Zionist". No other protections for any other group of people are mentioned.

This is a bold attempt to reframe anti-israel protests, which are by nature anti-zionist as hate crimes. It’s only crazy the first time you hear it. If you don’t decide right now that this is just factually, morally and ethically wrong and duplicitous, then by the 100th time you hear it, it will just seem like the truth.

Meanwhile down in Florida DeSantis has been piloting another prong of attack on Universities by installing loyalist presidents at the heads of various Florida Universities. He is specifically pulling in his ideological partners and they are explicitly focus on ‘pruning [all this] ideological study stuff’ and ‘eliminating indoctrination concepts’

This also comes under pressure from the new Florida DOGE team that is evaluating colleges and universities for their ‘efficiency’ and are tasked with ‘deleting’ any degrees that do not show significant “Return on Investment”.

This is identical to the dismemberment plan that Trump and Linda McMahon have planned for the Department of Education and public schooling in general.

This is Probably Nothing

Ever since the new EO and policies began popping up regarding voting, people have been sounding the alarm that the language is very, very loose. So loose, in fact, that when it comes to the part about how you can prove your citizenship and claim your right to vote, many women stand the chance of being denied that right in the next cycle.

The language implies that your birth certificate last name MUST match the last name on your license and other legal documents. Of course, if you married and took your spouses last name, much of that is changed and different now.

This was brushed away as crazy talk, but now it’s actually started to happen. In New Hampshire, a preliminary program has rolled out based on these strict new voting criteria. A woman had to go home and return to the polls three separate times because she didn’t have a birth certificate, and then the name didn’t match her current name, and so on.

And it’s not just women. Some men were also turned away and had to make one or two trips to get all the required documents in a row. At the least this is suppression through annoyance. Many people may not try to come back a 2nd and 3rd time after being refused. (Source: NHPR)

Final Thoughts

I’m not ever going to stop ‘catastrophizing’ until we are 1000% not going to war with canada, mexico and greenland. I am not going to stop ‘freaking out about every little thing’ until I very clearly can see that the people talking like nazis, acting like nazis and defending nazis are removed from office and possibly reality. I will not ‘wait and see’. I will not straddle a fence.

The things that are being said and done in broad daylight are more than just appearances, but even if that’s all it was, the fact that there is not a conscious and motivated effort to avoid the appearance of being nazis is concerning enough.

If my government is throwing up casual sieg heils, verifiably gutting the government, lining their own pockets and using orwellian doublespeak on the daily, I’m going to make my voice heard. I want there to be no question or doubt about where I stand. None of this OK, none of this is moral, ethical or even reasonable. These are evil people who want to hurt and destroy anyone who doesn’t think just like them.
